” What a Wonderful World “ is a world famous song, written by Bob Thiele (under the pseudonym George Douglas) and George David Weiss and sung for the first time by Louis Armstrong in 1967.

The song “What a Wonderful World” in Louis Armstrong’s version regained new popularity in 1988, following its use in the movie “Good Morning, Vietnam” with Robin Williams. In 1999 the song “What a Wonderful World” entered the Grammy Hall of Fame Award.

Louis Armstrong (Louis Daniel Armstrong, New Orleans, August 4, 1901 – New York, July 6, 1971) was an American trumpet player and singer. Louis Armstrong was one of the most famous jazz musicians of the twentieth century, reaching fame initially as a trumpeter, Armstrong also became one of the most important jazz singers. Louis Armstrong is considered to be one of the greatest and most influential personalities in the musical field of 1900.
